The Cocos (Keeling) Islands are an isolated Australian territory in the Indian Ocean. 27 little islands with white sand beaches, palm trees, and lagoons make up its two coral atolls. A visitor center and an airport are located on the West Island. Across the lagoon, the Cocos Malay people's culture is explored at the Home Island Museum. The secluded Pulu Keeling National Park, to the north, features bird colonies and a shipwreck.
