The Northwest Territories, which are about six times the size of the United Kingdom, cover a vast area of Canada north of the 60th parallel and close to the North Pole. This is a land of powerful rivers, towering mountains, and treeless tundra. It's a hard land, but one that will leave an indelible mark on you long after you leave.
